April 23 is, at one and the same time, Saint George's Day, World Book Day and the Fair of the Book and the Rose in Catalonia. To mark the occasion, the library will be organizing two activities over the course of the week.
 
Firstly, you can recommend books that you think could make for interesting acquisitions for the library. You can take part by leaving your recommendations in the Library Hall, or sending them to our email address or our Twitter or Facebook accounts. Everyone who participates will be put into a draw for a free breakfast in the cafeteria. It couldn't be easier!
 
Secondly, if you come to the Library any time this week, you can take a book away as a special Saint George's gift.
